Everyone has heard of the invitation-only supper clubs that happen every so often in trendy loft spaces. How about an invitation-only club for wine lovers? The Noble Rot holds tastings in undisclosed locations around the city, and the group’s next gig is coming up.

On July 30 from 7–10 PM, oenophiles will gather somewhere in Lower Manhattan for a tasting of Rieslings. Someone from wine bar Terroir will be on hand to discuss the good qualities of this grape. There will also be a musical performance, light bites to snack on and a specialty cocktail to close out the night.

If you can’t make this gathering, The Noble Rot puts together a shindig about once a month. E-mail them at info@noblerot.com to become part of the club, or buy tickets for the current party online ($62).
