Save on Taste of Tribeca Tickets
The weekend weather is shaping up to be glorious, so there’s no excuse for spending it on the couch watching TV and stuffing your face. Actually, you can still stuff your face – just do it outside! The annual Taste of Tribeca happens this Saturday, May 15, from 11:30 AM – 3 PM, offering samples from more than 70 of the nabe’s restaurants and food shops, including perennial favorites like Bouley, The Harrison and Nobu as well as newer spots like Bar Artisanal, Macao Trading Co. , Marc Forgione and even the just-opened Plein Sud.
There will also be a meatball cook-off between Marc Forgione and Amanda Freitag (The Harrison), a dumpling challenge, an eat-off and a culinary walking tour. How much will all this cost you? Tickets are normally $40 (proceeds benefit P.S. 150 and P.S. 234), but we’ve arranged a special deal for Zagat readers: enter in the code “tribeca10” and you’ll save 10%. To get tickets and more info, including a map of the day’s offerings, visit www.tasteoftribeca.com.
