Another week, another batch of hotels that are using iPads!

Today we got word that the Gem Hotel Chelsea and the Gem Hotel LES Soho will now be offering guests the use of an iPad in their lobbies. Here’s a snapshot of the Gem Hotel Chelsea’s iPad. The Gem Hotel SoHo will get theirs tomorrow on Monday.

Guests can use the iPad to listen to music, watch movies, go on Facebook and Twitter, make dinner reservations, play games, look up the NYC subway map or the city’s bike route (among other apps). As of now, there’s no time limit but the hotel may implement a “borrowing time” later in the future.
