Michael White is hard at work with Osteria Morini and Ai Fiori in The Setai Fifth Avenue, both of which are scheduled to open this fall. And White’s Altamarea Group just brought on a big gun from the mixology world to help behind the bar. Eben Freeman will now oversee the beverage programs at all the restaurants in the group’s portfolio. In addition to the two new spots, this includes New York favorites Alto, Convivio and Marea. Freeman was behind the innovative beverage programs at Tailor and WD-50, and he designed the cocktail menus at spots like Eleven Madison Park and Red Cat.
